So, you can’t find your baby. Well, that is probably because of those new threads. Chances are, your little tike is blending into their surroundings with the camouflage onesie you put them in. You knew you shouldn’t have placed them in all of that cammo. But don’t distress, the moment they move from their hiding you should be able to spot them in no time. Kidding aside, camouflage or as it is more often referred to as “Cammo” has been a trend in adult clothing for years. While it may only just be gaining popularity in the trends of children’s clothing, and fashion.

One of the important things to remember, when you are dressing your child with this pattern. Is that too much can go a long way fast, this pattern should be done in a minimalist mind set. Such as a pair of Camouflage pants, or a shirt. However, using things such as jackets to help accessories already cammo pants is alright. This is only so, due to the fact that your child will generally be wearing a solid top underneath it. Camouflage, although it is a set pattern can come in many colors, and fashions. From the more masculine shades of green all the way to pink, whites and grays that we have all become more familiar with. One of the best combinations I have found, is a plain white tee shirt, or onesie paired with cammo pants. However, this is entirely up to your own discretion. When choosing the colors of the cammo pattern, try to keep in mind the color of your child’s skin, hair, and eyes as separate colors may tend to wash your child out. IE: If your child has pale skin, muddier colors in the green and browns, may make your child look flush.

Again, going back to accessorizing you may be able to get your dose of camouflage, by simply obtaining a few smaller items. Retailers have caught on to this fashion trend, and now offer a wide variety of items in this patter. Things ranging from belts, sunglasses, stick on earrings, hats, and jewelry. All of these items come readily accessible in these pint-sized toddler or infant sizes. However, you may need to do a little research, before being able to find the items that you are wanting. I would suggest taking a look around online, as there is a larger selection that is readily accessible to the public.
