Dressing your little man with styleSo you are going to be the parent of a bouncing baby boy. However, you will soon be met by the same challenge many parents of boys are. There are few, if any clothes on the market that aren’t pastels for little boys to wear. Unfortunately, many mass market and super center stores don’t offer anything outside of the pastel and boring box for little boys to wear. Although a few specialty boutiques like this one; offer several different One pieces, t-shirts, pants, and accessories to choose from. Most of which will help to create a little edge in your infant boy’s wardrobe; rather than the standard stereotypical baby-wear. When you are dressing your little boy; I would suggest steering clear of your every-day items that can be found while you are grocery shopping. Instead of buying bulk blue clothes, try to find something with a little attitude. Bold colors such as reds, deep greens, yellows, and navy blues will help to break out of the slump of pastels; all while helping to get your child use to the world of colors. Remember, there is more in this world than pastel or powder blue! However if you still want a little blue in your boy’s wardrobe; try to do so with an edgy t-shirt or one piece. One that has blue accents, or a print on a blue shirt accompanied by vibrant prints. Keep it colorful, fun, and edgy when it comes to a boy’s wardrobe. Whether you fit into your standard genre of parent, gothic parent, punk, or even an urban parent. We all need to take the time in choosing our child’s clothing. Remember, that even though your baby is a boy. There is nothing wrong with accessorizing his outfit. Hats, socks, shoes, and other accessories can help to pull an outfit together. These are of course the items that you will want to double-up on as they can be lost fairly easily. However, the good news is; they are extremely affordable. Even your child’s socks can bring a little more punch of color with prints! However, I would suggest steering clear of a lot of the body-suits that make your little man look like a teddy. The rule of thumb is to leave Halloween for October. Allow your child’s clothing to speak for itself, and bring in a little attitude with a fun print such as a skull and crossbones.
