One thing to seriously consider is baking simple sugar cookies. This is a fun, and very flavorful way to thank your guests. You can either make , or purchase simple sugar cookie dough, and use either pre-made or self-made cutters in the shapes of things such as: ducks, teddy bears, carriages, umbrellas, bottles etc. Remember, if you are throwing a goth, or punk theme party you may want to use a little more subdued colors (rather than the bright pastels). Another fun way to give the gift of cookies, is by simply pouring simple ingredients into small (pre-measured) zip-top bags, along with a recipe written on paper cohesive to the invitations. Don’t forget, if you do this you may want to come up with a funny little quip about expecting a baby, however please take into consideration that there might be grandparents in attendance (so try to keep lewd comments at a minimum). These cookies are limited only by the imagination of those who are creating them.
