As many people like to doubt, even goths have children; I myself being one of course. However, there is a stigma that goth’s simply cannot name their children correctly; however they tend to be no more “out there” than any main stream couple naming their child after a sports team. Bealtaine: A Celtic holiday.

Belladonna: A poisonous plant.

Branwen: Formed from the Celtic word “crow”, otherwise known as the “white crow”

Calix or Calixa: A word formed from the Latin word for “wine cup”

Chimera: A mythical beast made up of parts of different animals.

There of course are so many other names for you to choose from, as the gothic culture is so vary un-inhibited. However one word of caution, is that you choose a name that your child will be able to live with; not only from a subculture point of view, but through a professional and social point of view as well.
