The weather was bright and cheerful, with not a cloud in sight. I nestled my daughter into her new favorite hoodie, and jeans before the trip. Upon departing the store, I have found myself in a torrential downpour. I stood there, no umbrella to protect us from the rain. Then it occurs to me, she has a hood! Hurrah for hoodies! While I am getting sopping wet, my daughter is still fairly dry. (This of course is one of the most extreme examples) However, it simply proves my point. Not only are hoodies great for a fashion standpoint, for any alternative style baby. They still uphold the necessity of practicality, that any infant or toddler needs in their lives. Although sweaters don’t combine top with hood, they still ooze practicality. It negates those bulky layers of clothing, that you would need without them. Have you ever tried getting an infant, who is wrapped to the gills with clothing into a car seat? It is nearly impossible! Not to mention fairly unsafe. Sweaters aid a parent’s quest for ease of use, and can also be termed as extremely fashionable. Another great thing about these two items, is that they come in many different varieties, that allow you to dress your child in the style you choose. Whether it be punk, gothic, emo, or even a more trendy version of hoodies or sweaters they are all fairly easy to obtain. Some of these items can be found sporting band logos, all the way to intricate and unique designs. So, what can you expect to pay for these articles of clothing? Well, that would depend on where you are shopping, and the label on the clothes. If you go with the most mundane , generic brand you can find you can expect to pay anywhere from three to fifteen dollars. However, the more intricate you get or the more band logos you have, you can expect to pay anywhere from fifteen to fifty dollars on an article of clothing.
