Whether you are simply getting prepared for your infant by making these important purchases, or even replacing a few of the older items that you had been gifted from friends during your baby shower. Many online and mass market retailers offer items such as; hooded bath towels, wash cloths, and an array of slippers. While these items may not seem important to you during your pregnancy, you will find that your infant may squeal with displeasure when the rough texture of adult towels dries his or her skin. These handy infant towels aren’t made simply for looks, however are made of super soft fabrics such as cotton blends to soothingly dry your tot from head to toe. Many of the hooded towels, can now be found in sets in nearly any store. Generally they will come with one or two hooded towels, and accompanied by a matching wash cloth. IE: if you purchase a hooded towel in a lamb theme, it will usually carry over onto an adorable embroidered washcloth. These items, much like any other can be found in organic and non organic materials. So depending on your preference, and budget you may opt to select a different theme or material; that can fit your own and your child’s needs.

Despite having already bathed and dried your child, you may wish to purchase a few other fun bath accessories for your child. Whether it be a bathing robe, which will allow your child to roam about in the comfy confines of a cotton or terry cloth robe after their bath; or even a few colorful toys to keep your child company while he or she takes a bath. Whether you opt for Crayola’s bath time crayons, or the more traditional rubber duck; it is important to know the specks on these items. Many companies are now required to make their toys out of non-toxic materials, which makes them not only fun but safe for your child as well. Keep in mind however, when you are selecting bath toys; that they should be fairly easy to maintain. Cloth items such as stuffed animals should be kept away from the bathtub, as they can pose a health hazard from bacterial growth. Your child’s bath toy should be made of either plastic or other easily cleaned and dried items. Just remember however, that despite all of the fancy bobbles for your child’s bath; you are the number one best bath accessory there is.
