Maternity pajamas and sleepware

While you’re pregnant your whole body becomes overly sensitive to everything, this includes your skin. I know even sleeping on the wrong kind of sheets can add to the many things that keep you up at night. So finding the right kind of pajamas and sleepwear can be one of the things that bring you closer to comfort in a time when comfort seems to be impossible to reach.

Most women while pregnant don’t like tight feeling clothes touching their skin around the stomach or chest. Their skin already feels itchy from being stretched out so much and the last thing a mom to be wants to do is add to their discomfort. So first thing when picking out your sleepwear jammies, you want it to fit loosely around the belly and chest. Secondly, make sure your skin likes the fabric. Even though you may have liked it before you were pregnant, it might be a different story now that you are and your skin feels hyper sensitive. Just for convenience and to save you money, try to buy clothes you can still ware after the baby is born. For moms that are planning on breastfeeding, keep in mind you want to have comfortable, easy access clothes for those feeding times. There is nothing more frustrating than waking up in the middle of the night to feed your baby and realize your clothing attire just won’t work.

Just in case you’re a new mom to be and don’t know how much more you journey to the bathroom for what seems like the smallest tinkles, even more so at night while you’re trying to sleep. Let me fill you in, saying a lot would be an understatement. So wearing bottom pants or shorts that don’t tie or button would be the most convenient. Not only that, but having a flexible waist that can move with you is most comfortable.
