Silly party games for baby showers

Although I personally opted out of having party games at my uni-sex baby shower. You may decide to have them included in the baby shower you are throwing. However, if you decide to include them in your shower it is important to keep your guests supplied. You will need to provide pens, pencils, and also prizes for the winners. Below are a few ideas for games that you may want to include in your shower:

Diaper Changing game:
You will need to acquire plenty of paper towel rolls. Place your guests in teams of two, then the teams will decide who will play the mother, and who will be the baby, however be sure and not let them know what game they will be playing until they have chosen. While the baby lies on the floor the other must make a diaper on the baby using one roll of paper towels and when they are done the baby must be able to stand up without the diaper falling off! This was a fun game especially for your co-ed baby showers!

Silly baby Draw:
You will first need to hand out paper plates, and pencils to all of your guests. Have each guest place the paper plate on their heads, and begin to draw a baby. Have the mother to be judge the drawing, and decide upon the winner.

Guess the number:
Count out a specific number of safety pins, write that number down. Place them inside of a baby bottle and screw on the cap. Upon arrival, have your guests jot down the number of safety pins they think are contained within. At the end of the party games, whoever is the closest to the number of pins wins.

How big is the baby bump?
Give your guests rolls or ribbon or streamers, have them cut the length that they think will fit around the mom to be's stomach. Once that is completed, have everyone measure their strand around mom's pregnant belly; whoever is closest wins.

Messy diaper:
Crush various candy bars into disposable diapers, and have your guests determine what "baby" ate. You will need to number each diaper, and write down its contents on a score sheet.

Noah's Ark:
Write the alphabet in big letters down one side of a piece of paper. Put two lines next to each letter. Have the guests write down two animals that start with that letter for each letter of the alphabet. IE: A - alligator and anteater. You will need to time them for two to three minutes. The guest who has the most at the end of the time.

Children's songs:
You will need to pick ten children's songs, and select one line from the middle of the song. Ex: "Out came the sun and dried up all the rain" from Itsy Bitsy Spider. Number a piece of paper from one to ten and write the line from the songs next to each number. Ask guests to try and figure out which song each line is from. Mix in some easy ones with some obscure ones to make it a challenge. Time your guests for two minutes. The one with the most correct, wins!

Ask guests to guess the correct name for each animal's baby. Here are some for your use. Time guests for one - two minutes. The guest with the most correct wins!
