As we all know, kids have a propensity for wanting to play in the snow. However, this can lead to chilled arms and an un-happy toddler. For this reason, retailers are now finally realizing that there is a market-value to offering pint-sized thermal shirts for kids.


Much like your adult-sized thermal shirts; an infant or toddler thermal shirt can be seen in the tail-tale signs of thermal clothing. Often times they are knit to have a waffle-weave style pattern which helps to retain warmth; as well as knit and ribbed cuffs to prevent the cold air from entering the sleeve. Luckily some manufacturers are even starting to make organic or “green” thermal shirts, which will enable you to be guilt-free when buying your child these warm little additions to their wardrobes! Like so many different articles of clothing, these thermal shirts tend to be extremely seasonal. For this reason you may wish to snatch them up once they are released for the year; might I suggest purchasing them in a couple different sizes at the time? This will ensure that your child will have plenty of warmth during the chilly months of winter.
