Toddler Arts And Crafts 6In this continuation of arts and craft articles, I will continue to offer several different arts and crafts for you to try with your toddler. These crafts aren’t only fun for your child, but are intended to help you bond with your child as well. In the end of this series we will now take a creative look into one of the many staples of childhood. One of the most tried and true methods of entertaining a toddler, is crayons!! It can sometimes be a pain to keep your child’s crayons in their box, however there is a simple and fun solution to this problem. What you will need is a tube from a used roll of paper towels, some scissors, and of course those handy dandy crayons! What you will do (this should not by done by any child!), is cut some holes into the paper towel tube (depending on the number of crayons he or she has). You will then have your child push their crayons into the various holes, and vwah-lah you now have a storage container for your child’s crayon, with minimal financial stress. Is your toddler getting sick of the same old boring crayons, that he or she uses every day? Why not spice a few of them up a little bit? What you will need is some colored tissue paper, the crayons, a small box, and one glue stick. What you will do is tear up some of the colored tissue paper (you can have your child do this as well), and then use the glue stick to coat the top end of each crayon’s paper. You will place the pieces of tissue paper into the box, and have your child swirl the crayon glue-side-down into the box of confetti. Now you have just officially spruced up those boring old crayons! We have all done a rub-on coloring page in grade school, but your toddler hasn’t yet! Why not spend some time teaching your child about this seemingly magical little trick? What you will need is some paper, a leaf or something else interesting, and some crayons. You should know this activity by heart already; but if you don’t remember. What you will do is place the item of your child’s choice under the piece of paper, and have them run the crayon over the top of the paper to see the impression that it leaves! Instant art!
