Tutus For ChildrenIt would seem that almost every child learns the love of dance, whether they are surrounded by the love of the art form; or if they have simply chosen to let loose on their own. It is of course the duty of the parent to encourage physical behavior such as this, as it can help to keep your child happy and healthy throughout their childhood. As with any other activity that your child does, dancing can help to teach them several things; from motivation, the beat of the music, singing, and even balance. Going hand in hand with the love of dance, is of course the want and need to emulate the costumes that dancers wear. If your child is anything like mine, she has found the love of the show Angelina Ballerina; and had begged for days to have a tutu of her own to prance around in. While I wished to comply with her want of a new dress-up outfit for her dancing, it was a fairly difficult task to find one that would fit. While many local mass-markets cater to the dress-up needs of older toddler girls from four to six years of age, many neglect to think of their younger counterparts. It would seem that most markets have neglected to realize that the love of dress-up starts early in young budding imaginations. So I took my search for the elusive infant or young toddler tutu online, where I was able to search through countless hundreds of different options. Despite the availability, you may find that many retailers are offering them at a hefty purchase price. You can expect to pay anything from fifty to ninety dollars from a top-of-the-line retailer online. However, there are a few sites such as this one; that offer a budget friendly alternative to your dress up needs. When your child is simply utilizing the outfit as play, it isn’t as important to worry about proper construction or coloration. Instead you should focus on cost as well as the durability of the item, as it will need to withstand the abuse that any toddler or infant can throw at it. While your standard dance-wear tutu is a wrap around skirt, that is fastened at the waist by ribbons. It isn’t very practical to have your child have to stop mid-dance, because they roughly tugged at the wrong place to loosen the strings. Instead you should opt for an elastic waist tutu, which will allow your child the freedom to move as they please, as well as keep them safe from the possibilities of strangulation from loose ribbons
