Unisex birthday party ideas and themesIts that time of year when your son or daughter is about to reach another milestone in their life. They is finally reaching toddlerhood; unless of course your child has already reached that milestone and is simply growing before your eyes. This is always a hard time for parents, watching their child grow so fast. However, it can also be a prideful time as you watch your little one learn and grow. For this reason, it is important to hold a celebration of the day you became a parent. Generally speaking the first couple of birthday parties, are usually set up for the parent’s to enjoy. But, once your child reaches toddlerhood it is now time to throw in a little bit of their personality into the mix. While some children may be more inclined toward your more traditional birthday party themes. Others may lean toward a more alternative style such as a punk or goth, and even a more urban themed party for children. I have included several themes for you to pick and choose from, most being some of the more popular trends in birthday parties. I have compiled a list of several different themes for you to consider, when you are putting together a uni-sex party for your child or children. These parties are particularly well suited for twins of the opposite gender.
* Disney Brainy baby party theme * Mickey mouse clubhouse party * Magic party theme * backyardigans party theme * Winnie the Pooh * Wizard of Oz * The Wiggles birthday party * Dragon tails * The Lord of the rings * Thomas the tank engine There are of course so many other ideas for a little girl’s birthday party. However you may be at a loss of what they should include. I have given you an example of some things to do during a party below : One of the cutest films in theaters this year is Wall-E. It sports a lovable little robot who gets into all sorts of jams. This of course will become the next craze of the birthday party themes with toddlers and older children alike. When you are presenting your Wall-E (or any other themed) birthday party, it is always a good idea to have items to help pull the theme together. You can usually purchase themed disposable cups and plates that not only look adorable, but help you in cleaning up after the party much later. Since the show is still playing in theaters you may choose to treat the children in the party group to a matinee showing, and return home for the cake and a couple of games. There is of course no need for elaborate decorations if you decide to take the children to the movies; however if you choose to spiff up your place you will use like-colors throughout streamers and balloons around the party room. You can make this theme cohesive in feel by adding both robot and space print items throughout the room. You may even wish to purchase a Wall-E poster that the birthday boy or girl can use in their room after the party has completed. A couple of great activities, is to allow the children to build paper towel rockets, or allowing them to build their very own space ship together with a larger box. Remember when doing anything creative at a child’s birthday party, an adult should help with anything that is hot or sharp. To save some time during the party, you can offer the children some pre-cut construction paper shapes to tape onto their rockets or the box. Related information topics:
